1. It was a bright, sunny morning. The sky was wide and blue, with just a few light clouds floating by. At the Humber Railway Station, the platform was busy. People were boarding the train, waving goodbye to loved ones, or chatting in small groups. The sounds of footsteps, rolling luggage, and cheerful voices filled the air. Inside the train, the mood was calm but lively. Passengers were settling into their seats. Some were talking with their buddies, others had opened books or newspapers. A few sat by the windows, gazing out at the sunny fields. Bud Cook, one of the workers, walked down the aisle. He was tall and friendly, with a neat orange uniform and an easy smile. “Tickets, please,” he said, stopping at each seat. A man in a Top hat handed him his ticket. “Lovely day for a trip, isn’t it?” he asked. “It sure is,” Bud replied, giving the ticket a quick look before moving on.

2. Near the back of the train, a young man held out his ticket. It was crumpled and looked a little off. Bud looked at it for a moment. “This doesn’t seem quite right,” Bud said handing it back. The man shifted in his seat, avoiding Bud’s eyes. “It’s the ticket I was given,” he mumbled. Bud then said, “Sir, you need to leave the train right now before I call the train driver.” The man replied, “What happens if I don’t leave, huh?” Bud then yelled, “GET OUT!” After that, the man left.

3. At the front of the train, John Laking, the engineer, sat quietly at his seat. He was focused, his eyes on the tracks ahead. His hands rested on the controls as he watched for anything unusual. “Everything looks good up here,” he said to himself. “Ready to go, John?” came a voice over the walkie-talkie. John pressed a button. “All set William! Let’s get moving!” William Earhart, the train driver, was in the main cabin. He pulled the lever to start the train. The wheels began to turn, and the train let out a whistle as it started to move. It picked up speed slowly, passengers felt the gentle movement of the train as it rolled forward, its rhythm was steady and soothing. Outside, the fields and trees seemed to glide past. A few cows grazed near a fence, and birds flew up into the air as the train passed by. Bud finished checking tickets and stood near the back of the cabin for a moment. He looked out the window, taking in the peacefulness. The train moved steadily along, its wheels clicking softly on the rails. Inside, the passengers relaxed, enjoying the journey.
